Please consider participating in & promoting National Day of Prayer. On Thursday, May 7th, we will have the opportunity to gather with believers of ALL streams in seeking God for our nation. If you would like to coordinate a NDP prayer meeting in your community, you can register at www.ndptf.org. Please read the letters below from Gabrielle Jackson and Dutch Sheets regarding this year's 58th Annual National Day of Prayer.
Finally, let us remember what took place on the campuses of VA Tech on 4/16/07 & Columbine HS on 4/20/99. If you would like to join me in intercession for the youth of our nation and cry out to the ONLY ONE who can break the curse of death that is upon them, you are welcome to participate in tomorrow morning's national conference call beginning 4:30am Pacific/7:30am Eastern. Dear Pastors and Leaders,
Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
So they might be one heart and mind with us.
Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me.
The same glory you gave me, I gave them,
So they'll be as unified and together as we are—
I in them and you in me.
Then they'll be mature in this oneness,
And give the godless world evidence
That you've sent me and loved them
In the same way you've loved me. " John 17:21-22 (the message)
April 16, 2009
Today I am coming to you with a message from my heart.
Now, more than ever, the need to stand for our Christian beliefs is apparent. There is a war taking place attacking our Christian heritage, values, and even life itself.
On April 30, 1863, during the darkest days of our country, President Abraham Lincoln called for a day of united pray and fasting. As we approach the anniversary of that historic day, I am asking that we again petition God on behalf of our nation. In the following brief video I explain this call to prayer beginning on April 30, 2009, whereby we can agree together with millions leading up to May 7, 2009, the National Day of Prayer.
This is very important. Please join me in this endeavor.

An Excerpt from Abraham Lincoln’s Call for
1863 National Day of Fasting, Humiliation & Prayer
We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown.
But we have forgotten God.
We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!
It behooves us, then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.
